How To Use The Daily Quiz In Your CAT Preparation

The daily quiz works best as a habit inside a bigger plan. Here is how to get the most out of it.

⏱

Attempt it timed

Finish within the time limit shown on the quiz. Practising under the clock is what builds exam speed.
✓

Read every explanation

Go through the explanations for the questions you got right too. There may be a faster method.
✎

Keep an error log

For each miss, note the topic and the reason: concept gap, calculation slip or misread question. Patterns show what to revise.
◎

Pair it with mocks

The quiz builds daily topic habits. Sectional tests and full-length mocks test timing across the whole paper: try the free CAT mock tests.

FAQs

CAT Daily Quiz: Frequently Asked Questions

What is the CAT Daily Quiz?+
A short, timed practice quiz that Thinkoraa publishes every day for CAT aspirants. Each quiz shows its own topic, number of questions and time limit, and after you submit you get your score and accuracy along with the answers and explanations.
Do I get answers and explanations after the quiz?+
Yes. After you submit, you can see the correct answers and explanations along with your score and accuracy, so you can learn from every question you missed.
Is the CAT Daily Quiz free?+
Yes. It is a free practice resource. You need a free Thinkoraa student account to attempt a quiz and save your score; you can read today's quiz details on this page without logging in.
How many questions and how much time does a quiz have?+
It depends on the quiz. The number of questions and the time limit are shown on today's quiz and on every quiz in the Previous 10 Days list.
Which topics does the daily quiz cover?+
The topic changes from day to day and is shown in the quiz title, for example a Quant topic, a verbal topic or a reasoning set. Use the Previous 10 Days list to practise topics you have missed.
What if I miss a day?+
Quizzes are not lost. The Previous 10 Days section lists the last ten published quizzes, and you can attempt any you have not done yet.
What is the difference between a daily quiz and a CAT mock test?+
A daily quiz is a short practice set on one topic. A full-length CAT mock test simulates the whole exam (three sections, 120 minutes) and is used to check your overall preparation and time management. Free CAT Mock Tests are available on Thinkoraa.
How should I use the daily quiz?+
Attempt the quiz, then spend a few minutes reviewing every answer you got wrong or skipped. Note the topics that cost you marks and revise them before the next quiz.
Is the daily quiz enough to prepare for CAT?+
No. Daily practice builds accuracy and speed on individual topics, but CAT preparation also needs full syllabus coverage, sectional tests and full-length mock tests. See the CAT guide for the syllabus and exam pattern.
How much time should I spend on the daily quiz?+
Plan for the quiz time limit shown on the quiz, plus about as much time again to read the answers and explanations and note your mistakes. The review is where most of the learning happens.
Is the daily quiz the same as the CAT exam?+
No. It is practice material to build accuracy and speed. It does not replicate the CAT exam and does not predict your CAT score or percentile.
