How To Use XAT Previous Year Papers
Attempt it timed
Set a timer and attempt the paper section by section, as in the exam.
Check the answer key
Score yourself section by section, and note how many questions you attempted and got right.
Read the solutions
Go through the solution for every wrong or skipped question, and for the right ones where you were unsure.
Keep an error log
Write down the topic and why you lost the marks: concept gap, calculation slip, misread question or time.

XAT 2026, XAT 2025: 95 questions (28 in Quant & DI, 21 in Decision Making, 26 in Verbal & Logical, 20 in General Knowledge). XAT 2024: 100 questions (28 in Quant & DI, 21 in Decision Making, 26 in Verbal & Logical, 25 in General Knowledge).
How should I use previous year papers?+
Attempt the paper as a timed test, check the answer key, read the solutions for every wrong or skipped question, and note the topic and the reason you lost marks. See the XAT preparation strategy.
Are previous year papers enough to prepare?+
