What is CAT?


The CAT (Common Admission Test) is a national-level entrance examination conducted by the Indian Institute of Management (IIMs) on a rotational basis. It serves as the primary gateway for admission into MBA/PGDM programmes at the IIMs and over 1,200+ top business schools in India.

  • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university
  • Minimum 50% marks in graduation
  • Final-year students can apply
  • Graduation allowed from any stream
