What is CMAT?

Applicable for the All the Programme for the MCA in all over India
The CMAT (Common Management Admission Test) is a national-level entrance examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). It is designed for admission to management programmes (MBA/PGDM) across AICTE-approved institutions in India. CMAT provides a single window for candidates to appear for a common test and seek admission to various management institutes.

Who can apply for CMAT?

  • Candidates must have a bachelor's degree (10+2+3 pattern) from a recognized university
  • Final year students awaiting results can also apply.
  • There is no age limit for appearing in CMAT.

Arithmetic (Percentages, Profit & Loss, Time & Work, Time & Distance, Ratio & Proportion), Algebra (Linear & Quadratic Equations), Geometry & Mensuration, Number System, Data Interpretation (Tables, Bar Graphs, Pie Charts, Line Graphs), Probability, and Statistics.

Analytical Reasoning (Puzzles, Seating Arrangements, Syllogisms), Verbal Reasoning (Statement-Conclusion, Cause & Effect), Non-Verbal Reasoning (Series, Coding-Decoding, Blood Relations, Direction Sense), and Data Sufficiency

Reading Comprehension (passages on business, economics, management), Grammar (Sentence Correction, Tenses, Subject-Verb Agreement), Vocabulary (Synonyms, Antonyms, Idioms, One-Word Substitution), and Verbal Ability (Para Jumbles, Sentence Completion, Fill in the Blanks)

Current Affairs (60%): National & International news, Business & Economy, Government Schemes, Sports, Awards, Science & Technology. Static GK (40%): History, Geography, Polity, Economics, Science, Books & Authors

Entrepreneurship fundamentals, Innovation frameworks, Start-up ecosystem, Business Models, Funding, CSR, Digital Transformation, and Emerging Trends (e.g., Social Entrepreneurship)
