Pick a free full-length mock, or a sectional test for QTDI, LR, LC, GA, I&E, on the student platform.
3
Attempt it in one sitting
Block out 3 hours for a full CMAT mock and sit it like exam day: a quiet room, no notes, strict time discipline.
4

Revise weak topics, attempt another test, or explore the full CMAT test series.
Make Them Count

How to Get the Most From the Free CMAT Mocks and Sectionals

Treat the 2 mocks and 10 sectionals as one loop for CMAT: take a mock to find the weakest of QTDI, LR, LC, GA, I&E, fix it with that section's two sectionals, then test again.

◎
Use the first mock as a diagnostic
Attempt the first full-length mock early. With five sections of 20 questions each, it shows which of QTDI, LR, LC, GA or I&E needs the most work.
⚡
Practise your own time split
CMAT has no sectional time limits across its 3 hours, so you decide how long each section gets. Use the mocks to test a time plan, not just to chase a score.
◆
Fix the weakest section with sectionals
Take the 2 free sectionals for your weakest section first. Every section carries 20 questions, so a weak section costs as many marks as any other.
◇
Track the cost of wrong answers
CMAT awards +4 for a correct answer and deducts 1 for a wrong one. After each test, note which wrong attempts cost you marks and where skipping would have been smarter.
●
Give General Awareness and Innovation & Entrepreneurship equal attention
These two sections carry as many questions as the others. Review them after every test and note which topics keep coming up.
Free vs Paid

Free CMAT Mock Tests vs the Full CMAT Test Series

The 12 free CMAT tests are a starting point. For sustained practice across QTDI, LR, LC, GA, I&E, the paid CMAT test series goes much further.

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) – Free CMAT Mock Tests

Are Thinkoraa CMAT mock tests free, and how many can I attempt?+
Some are. You can attempt 2 free full-length CMAT mock tests and 10 free sectional tests — 2 each for QTDI, LR, LC, GA, I&E. The rest of the CMAT mock and sectional tests are part of the paid CMAT test series and full-course programs.
Do I need to register to attempt the free CMAT mock tests?+
Yes. Free tests are taken on the Thinkoraa student platform, so you need a free student account. Registering is free and does not require payment.
What is the CMAT exam pattern?+
CMAT 2027 has 5 sections with 20 questions each: Quantitative Techniques & DI, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, General Awareness, and Innovation & Entrepreneurship. Total: 100 questions, 400 marks, 3 hours. Marking: +4 for correct, −1 for wrong. No sectional time limits.
Is there negative marking in CMAT?+
Yes. CMAT awards +4 marks for each correct answer and deducts 1 mark for each wrong answer, with a maximum score of 400.
Does CMAT have sectional time limits?+
No. CMAT gives you 3 hours for the whole test with no sectional time limits, so how you divide your time between sections is up to you.
Is there an age limit for CMAT?+
NTA sets no minimum or maximum age limit for CMAT, and there is no cap on attempts. Individual colleges may apply their own age-related criteria at admission, so check each target institute separately.
Is a calculator allowed in the CMAT exam?+
No. Physical calculators, mobile phones and other electronic devices are not allowed inside the exam hall, so all Quantitative Techniques & DI calculations are done manually on the rough sheet provided at the centre.
What kind of questions come in the Innovation & Entrepreneurship section?+
Expect a mix of awareness questions (the startup ecosystem, funding stages, well-known Indian startups) and short case-based questions, such as judging a business scenario or identifying a business model. It leans less on memorisation than General Awareness and more on reasoning applied to business situations.
What is the difference between a full-length mock and a sectional test?+
A full-length mock covers all 5 CMAT sections — QTDI, LR, LC, GA, I&E — and simulates the whole exam. A sectional test, such as the free QTDI sectional, covers only Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation so you can work on that one area in isolation.
How are the free tests different from the paid CMAT test series?+
The free tests let you experience Thinkoraa's test platform with 2 full-length mocks and 10 sectionals. The paid CMAT test series offers 20 AI-powered all-India mock tests, 75 full-syllabus sectional tests and 250 chapterwise tests, plus performance, accuracy and time analysis and all-India rank and percentile analysis.
Where can I see the CMAT syllabus, dates and eligibility?+
The complete CMAT guide — dates, syllabus, pattern, eligibility and accepting colleges — is on the CMAT 2027 guide.
How do I get access to the full CMAT test series?+
See the test-series section on the CMAT guide for the available plans, or share your details in the form on this page and a Thinkoraa mentor will contact you on WhatsApp.
