Make Them Count

How to Get the Most From the Free SNAP Mocks and Sectionals

Treat the 2 mocks and 8 sectionals as one loop for SNAP: take a mock to find the weakest of GE, QA/DI, ALR, Ethics, fix it with that section's two sectionals, then test again.

◎
Use the first mock as a diagnostic
Attempt the first full-length mock early. With four sections in one 60-minute test, it shows which of GE, QA/DI, ALR or Ethics needs the most work.
⚡
Practise a single-sitting time split
SNAP is one 60-minute test with no sectional time limit, so you decide how long each section gets. Use the mocks to test a time plan, not just to chase a score.
◆
Get used to the new Ethics section
The Ethics, Morality and Values section has 10 questions and is new for 2026. Use its 2 free sectional tests to get familiar with the question style.
◇
Fix the weakest section with sectionals
QA/DI and ALR carry 20 questions each — the largest sections — so use the free sectionals on whichever of them your first mock exposed as weak.
●
Re-test after revising
Take the second SNAP mock only after you have revised the weakest of GE, QA/DI, ALR, Ethics from the first, then compare the two attempts section by section.
Free vs Paid

Free SNAP Mock Tests vs the Full SNAP Test Series

The 10 free SNAP tests are a starting point. For sustained practice across GE, QA/DI, ALR, Ethics, the paid SNAP test series goes much further.

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) – Free SNAP Mock Tests

Are Thinkoraa SNAP mock tests free, and how many can I attempt?+
Some are. You can attempt 2 free full-length SNAP mock tests and 8 free sectional tests — 2 each for GE, QA/DI, ALR, Ethics. The rest of the SNAP mock and sectional tests are part of the paid SNAP test series and full-course programs.
Do I need to register to attempt the free SNAP mock tests?+
Yes. Free tests are taken on the Thinkoraa student platform, so you need a free student account. Registering is free and does not require payment.
What is the SNAP exam pattern?+
SNAP 2026 has 60 questions across four sections — General English (10), Quantitative Ability with Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency (20), Analytical & Logical Reasoning (20), and a new Ethics, Morality and Values section (10) — for a total of 60 marks, in a single 60-minute computer-based test with no sectional time limit.
Is there a sectional time limit in SNAP?+
No. SNAP is a single 60-minute computer-based test with no sectional time limit, so you decide how long each section gets.
What is the new Ethics section in SNAP 2026?+
SNAP 2026 adds an Ethics, Morality and Values section of 10 questions. To keep the total at 60 questions, 5 questions each were removed from General English and Analytical & Logical Reasoning.
What is the SNAP marking scheme?+
Each correct answer gets +1 mark and each incorrect answer loses 0.25 marks. There is no penalty for unattempted questions. You can attempt SNAP up to three times across different test dates, and the best of your scores is considered for admission.
Is a calculator allowed in SNAP?+
No physical or handheld calculator is allowed inside the exam hall, so Quantitative Ability, Data Interpretation and Data Sufficiency calculations are done manually on the rough sheet provided.
Can I prepare for SNAP and CAT together?+
Yes. CAT and SNAP overlap heavily in Quantitative Ability, English and Logical Reasoning, so CAT preparation covers roughly 80–85% of SNAP. SNAP is shorter and faster with no sectional time limit and includes Data Sufficiency, so add a few SNAP-specific mocks before December.
What is the difference between a full-length mock and a sectional test?+
A full-length mock covers all 4 SNAP sections — GE, QA/DI, ALR, Ethics — and simulates the whole exam. A sectional test, such as the free GE sectional, covers only General English so you can work on that one area in isolation.
How are the free tests different from the paid SNAP test series?+
The free tests let you experience Thinkoraa's test platform with 2 full-length mocks and 8 sectionals. The paid SNAP test series offers 10 AI-powered all-India mock tests, 40 full-syllabus sectional tests and 250 chapterwise tests, plus performance, accuracy and time analysis and all-India rank and percentile analysis.
Where can I see the SNAP syllabus, dates and eligibility?+
The complete SNAP guide — dates, syllabus, pattern, eligibility and accepting colleges — is on the SNAP 2026 guide.
How do I get access to the full SNAP test series?+
See the test-series section on the SNAP guide for the available plans, or share your details in the form on this page and a Thinkoraa mentor will contact you on WhatsApp.
