Choose a free SET test
Pick a free full-length mock, or a sectional test for GE, QA, GA, ALR, on the student platform.
3
Attempt it in one sitting
Block out 60 minutes for a full SET mock and sit it like exam day: a quiet room, no notes, strict time discipline.
4
Review your result

5
Plan your next step
Revise weak topics, attempt another test, or explore the full SET test series.
Make Them Count

How to Get the Most From the Free SET Mocks and Sectionals

Treat the 2 mocks and 8 sectionals as one loop for SET: take a mock to find the weakest of GE, QA, GA, ALR, fix it with that section's two sectionals, then test again.

◎
Use the first mock as a diagnostic
Attempt the first full-length mock early. With four sections in a single 60-minute test, it shows which of GE, QA, GA or ALR needs the most work.
⚡
Attempt every question
SET has no negative marking and no penalty for unattempted questions, so practise answering every question instead of leaving any blank.
◆
Do not neglect General Awareness
General Awareness carries 16 questions — as many as English and Quantitative Aptitude. Use its 2 free sectionals to find out how much you actually know.
◇
Fix the weakest section with sectionals
Use the free sectionals on the section your first mock exposed. In a 60-question, 60-minute test, even one weak section costs you marks quickly.
●
Use the two-attempt format
Your higher score across Test 1 and Test 2 is used, so treat the second free mock as a rehearsal: revise from the first, then check whether your score improved.
Free vs Paid

Free SET Mock Tests vs the Full SET Test Series

The 10 free SET tests are a starting point. For sustained practice across GE, QA, GA, ALR, the paid SET test series goes much further.

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) – Free SET Mock Tests

Are Thinkoraa SET mock tests free, and how many can I attempt?+
Some are. You can attempt 2 free full-length SET mock tests and 8 free sectional tests — 2 each for GE, QA, GA, ALR. The rest of the SET mock and sectional tests are part of the paid SET test series and full-course programs.
Do I need to register to attempt the free SET mock tests?+
Yes. Free tests are taken on the Thinkoraa student platform, so you need a free student account. Registering is free and does not require payment.
What is the SET exam pattern?+
SET has 60 questions across four mandatory sections — General English, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness, and Analytical & Logical Reasoning — worth 1 mark each, in a single 60-minute computer-based test.
What is the SET marking scheme?+
Each correct answer gets +1 mark. There is no negative marking and no penalty for unattempted questions — a meaningful difference from CAT, IPMAT, and JIPMAT, all of which deduct marks for wrong answers.
Can I attempt SET more than once?+
SET has two attempts, Test 1 and Test 2, and your higher score across the two is used. The free mocks are a good way to prepare before your first attempt.
Who is eligible for SET?+
Candidates must have passed or be appearing in Class 12 from a recognised board with at least 50% marks or equivalent (45% for SC/ST), in any stream. There is no age limit, and international students can apply.
What happens after SET scores are declared?+
A SET score alone does not guarantee a seat. Each participating Symbiosis institute releases its own shortlist from the score, then runs a Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI), and your offer depends on all three.
Is SET the same as SNAP or SITEEE?+
No. SET is Symbiosis's undergraduate entrance test for BBA. SNAP is a separate exam for Symbiosis MBA programmes taken after a bachelor's degree, and SITEEE (engineering) and SLAT (law) are also separate tests.
What is the difference between a full-length mock and a sectional test?+
A full-length mock covers all 4 SET sections — GE, QA, GA, ALR — and simulates the whole exam. A sectional test, such as the free GE sectional, covers only General English so you can work on that one area in isolation.
How are the free tests different from the paid SET test series?+
The free tests let you experience Thinkoraa's test platform with 2 full-length mocks and 8 sectionals. The paid SET test series offers 10 AI-powered all-India mock tests, 30 sectional tests and 200 chapterwise tests, plus performance, accuracy and time analysis and all-India rank and percentile analysis.
Where can I see the SET syllabus, dates and eligibility?+
The complete SET guide — dates, syllabus, pattern, eligibility and accepting colleges — is on the SET 2027 guide.
How do I get access to the full SET test series?+
See the test-series section on the SET guide for the available plans, or share your details in the form on this page and a Thinkoraa mentor will contact you on WhatsApp.
