ET-CU is a centrally administered online aptitude test conducted by Christ (Deemed to be University), Bangalore, for admission to BBA, B.Com, BHM and other UG programmes across all its campuses.

For BBA programmes, ET-CU has 120 MCQs worth 120 marks in a 90-minute test, covering English, GK, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, Data Analysis & Interpretation, and Fundamental Accounting (for relevant programmes).

Each correct answer gets +1 mark, each incorrect answer deducts 0.25 marks. No penalty for unattempted questions — unlike SET or NPAT which have zero negative marking.

Four stages: Entrance Test (ET), Skill Assessment (SA), Micro Presentation (MP), and Personal Interview (PI). The SA, MP and PI are conducted in person at the campus.

Passed Class 12 (any stream) from a recognised board. Students appearing in the admission year can apply provisionally with Class 10/11 marks. No fixed minimum percentage published for the general BBA ET round, though specialized tracks like BBA Decision Science and BBA FIB (Finance, Investment & Banking) carry their own minimum-percentage requirements — check the specific programme page.

No. ET-CU is Christ University's own private entrance test. CUET is a separate NTA-conducted exam used by central universities like DU, BHU and JNU — different syllabi, patterns and application processes.

Christ University does not publish a fixed cap on ET-CU attempts. Since it runs multiple rolling admission sessions through the year — separately by campus — candidates who don't clear one session, or who start preparing late, can typically apply again in a later session, subject to that session's application window still being open. Always confirm the current attempt policy on the official ET-CU portal for your target campus, as this can vary by admission cycle.

ET-CU is a computer-based test and, like most similar UG entrance tests, does not permit an external or on-screen calculator for the Quantitative Aptitude and Data Analysis & Interpretation sections. Practice mental math and approximation techniques rather than relying on calculation aids, and confirm the exact policy on your admit card since exam-day instructions are issued fresh each session.

Since the ET-CU score is out of 120 marks and the indicative General-category cutoff at the most competitive campus, Bangalore Central, has been around 85–90 in recent years (see the Cutoff Trend section above), aiming for 95+ out of 120 gives a safer margin heading into the Skill Assessment, Micro Presentation and Personal Interview rounds. Other campuses have typically needed lower scores, based on indicative data.

Christ University charges a nominal, non-refundable fee to submit the ET-CU application online, in addition to any programme-specific charges. The exact amount is set fresh for each admission session and shown during the online application process, so check the official ET-CU portal for the current figure before you apply.

Both are in-person rounds held at the campus for candidates who clear the ET, conducted alongside the Personal Interview on the same visit. They are designed to evaluate communication, aptitude and presentation skills beyond what a written test can capture. Exact formats can vary slightly by campus and programme, so refer to your call letter for specifics.
