Make Them Count

How to Get the Most From the Free CUET UG Mocks and Sectionals

Treat the 2 mocks and 6 sectionals as one loop for CUET UG: take a mock to find the weakest of Language, Domain, General Test, fix it with that section's two sectionals, then test again.

◎
Use the first mock as a diagnostic
Attempt the first full-length mock early. It shows which paper — Language, Domain Subject or General Test — needs the most work.
⚡
Practise 50 questions in 60 minutes
Every CUET UG paper gives you 60 minutes for 50 questions. Use the sectionals to build the habit of finishing a full paper on time.
◇
Mind the negative marking
CUET UG awards +5 for a correct answer and deducts 1 for a wrong one. After each test, note which wrong attempts cost you marks.
◆
Match domain subjects to your target courses
Which domain subjects you need depends on the college and programme. Practise the ones your target universities require.
●
Re-test after revising
Take the second CUET UG mock only after you have revised the weakest of Language, Domain, General Test from the first, then compare the two attempts section by section.
Free vs Paid

Are Thinkoraa CUET UG mock tests free, and how many can I attempt?+
Some are. You can attempt 2 free full-length CUET UG mock tests and 6 free sectional tests — 2 each for Language, Domain, General Test. The rest of the CUET UG mock and sectional tests are part of the paid CUET UG test series and full-course programs.
Do I need to register to attempt the free CUET UG mock tests?+
Yes. Free tests are taken on the Thinkoraa student platform, so you need a free student account. Registering is free and does not require payment.
What is the CUET UG exam pattern?+
A Language section, Domain Subject papers (choose from 23 subjects), and an optional General Test. Each paper has a uniform 50 questions in 60 minutes, for 250 marks, with +5 correct / -1 incorrect marking.
What is the CUET UG marking scheme?+
Each CUET UG paper has 50 questions for 250 marks, with +5 for each correct answer and -1 for each incorrect answer.
How many domain subjects can I choose in CUET UG?+
CUET UG offers 23 domain subjects across 4 streams, and recent cycles have allowed around 5 subjects in total. The subjects you need depend on the college and programme, so check the requirements of your target courses on the CUET UG guide.
Who is eligible for CUET UG?+
Candidates must have passed or be appearing in Class 12 from a recognised board. NTA itself sets no fixed minimum percentage, though individual universities may set their own criteria.
Is there a limit on CUET UG attempts?+
No. There is no cap on how many times you can appear for CUET UG across years, as long as you meet the Class 12 passed or appearing eligibility each time.
Is there a single counselling process after CUET UG?+
No. CUET UG only conducts the entrance test and issues a scorecard. There is no centralised interview or counselling by NTA — each participating university runs its own counselling and admission process using your CUET UG score.
What is the difference between a full-length mock and a sectional test?+
A full-length mock covers all 3 CUET UG sections — Language, Domain, General Test — and simulates the whole exam. A sectional test, such as the free Language sectional, covers only Language (Section IA/IB — choose 1) so you can work on that one area in isolation.
How are the free tests different from the paid CUET UG test series?+
The free tests let you experience Thinkoraa's test platform with 2 full-length mocks and 6 sectionals. The paid CUET UG test series offers 10 GAT mock tests, 5 domain sectional tests (50 questions each) for Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics, Entrepreneurship and Mathematics and 200 chapterwise tests, plus performance, accuracy and time analysis and all-India rank and percentile analysis.
Where can I see the CUET UG syllabus, dates and eligibility?+
The complete CUET UG guide — dates, syllabus, pattern, eligibility and accepting colleges — is on the CUET UG 2027 guide.
How do I get access to the full CUET UG test series?+
See the test-series section on the CUET UG guide for the available plans, or share your details in the form on this page and a Thinkoraa mentor will contact you on WhatsApp.
